Three Different Ways to Cook a Classic Steak in Singapore


Nothing feels better than to spend the entire day roaming around Singapore, together with your family while exploring some of the finest familyfriendly restaurants. Steaks in Singapore are sure great for family gatherings, and as well as to any other occasions there is. The steak restaurant in Singapore will surely satisfy your steak cravings!

Steaks are beautiful, and here are three different ways on how to cook, and enjoy the perfect steak:

11.)    Grilled steak – This is clearly one of the most commonly used processed in cooking the perfect steak. Put some vegetable oil, salt, pepper, and herbs which are optional, to both sides of the raw steak while waiting for the grill to heat up. Now that the grill is already heated, place the steaks on top of it.  Another technique to get that good grill marks and great caramelization to your steak, is to get a paper towel using a thong, and dip it to a small bow of vegetable oil, then spread the paper towel soaked in vegetable oil all over the top of the grill. Close the grill and wait for 5-10 minutes until both sides of the steak are grilled. Once the steak is already done, wrap it around a foil paper and let it sit for a couple of minutes before serving. Happy eating!

22.)    Pan fried steak – Before jumping in to the cooking process, make sure that your raw steak is dry. Pat the steak with some paper towel in order for the excess moisture to be gone. Make sure to add some salt and seasoning to both sides in order to have a flavourful steak. Add enough amount of oil to the frying pan then place the steak slowly using a thong. Let the steak cook for 3 minutes then flip the other side and wait for another 3 minutes, once done, add butter to the pan and wait for it to melt. While the butter is melting, chop some garlic to add extra flavour to the butter. Now the best part! Grab a spoon to get all that melted butter in the pan then pour it on top of your steak. Wait for a couple of minutes and your steak is ready to be served!

33.)    Reverse sear steak – The reverse sear steak is known for finishing the steak with a hot sear. To start off, season both sides of the steak with some salt and pepper. Then place the steak to a wire rack inside the oven, and make sure that the oven is set to 275 degrees. Wait for 30 minutes, then pull out your steak from the oven and wrap it around a foil paper for 10 minutes. While waiting, place a skillet over the stove and set it to a high heat. Add vegetable oil to the skillet then slowly place the steak. Wait for a couple of minutes before flipping the other side of the steak. And the result? A glorious looking steak with crust on it!
